Welcome to BIG B's Review Page!
Welcome to Big B's Record Review. Okay here's the poop: I got board one night and decided for shits-and-giggles to do an album review page because there is not enough idiots-with-opinions on the Internet nowadays (and yes that's a word nowadays). So I received a revelation from the Green Goddess share my opinions with all ya'll for no good reason. Well actually I got the idea when I imbibed some Green Tea and listened to some new CD's. Yes-air guitar and all. Take my opinion for what it's worth--after all I'm only a drummer. I will review other things like movies, drum equipment, TV shows, etc. Hope you enjoy it!

Here is how it works.
Like every good reviewer I have a scale so I can further bend your opinion to my point of view. The scale is represented by BIG B's--so; 1-B is bad to 5-B's, which is an excellent album. Here is how it breaks down:
1-B=Don't bother at all, it's not even worth stealing. Sucks Ass! 2-B's=Not bad if your really, really fuckin' high! Even then it may annoy you. 3-B's=Average, only if you like that sort of thing. 4-B's=Worth a listen, but don't pay more than ten bucks. 5-B's=A definite must have for your CD collection. Then there is the sacred 6-B rating reserved only for the best of the best. Revolutionary music making that may (or has) changed the face of music. I also grant 1/2 scores as well when the mark merits it, i.e. the new J-Lo CD is 1 1/2 just because her boobs are prominent on the cover.
Who the hell am I to tell you what to buy? I know money is tight so I will be brutally honest even if I like the band, so you can feel safe buying the album with my reviews in mind. I have been a drummer since 1987 and I have been in 22 bands. I have listened to rock music since the early 70's and Metal since the early 80's at its inception. My CD, tape, and album collection tops nearly 2000 albums of varying stiles of music (mostly metal/hard rock) and most people agree with me when it comes to music. To put it plainly I LOVE MUSIC! So, like I said before, take it for what its worth and have fun for the Goddess's Sake. Life is too short to listen to shitty music.

In the recent past I have become a huge SFU fan and I would have to say that True Carnage is my favorite album to date. B.O.B. is an awesome album from start to finish.
The album kicks off with "Sick In The Head" which is a great track, and then "Amerika The Brutal" kicks in with a bass/drum intro that kicks ass with a very timely political message. It sets the mood for "My Hatred" then my personal favorite tracks come on "Murdered In The Basement" and "When Skin Turns Blue!" These are the tracks that make the album worth buying. They are fast and heavy--pretty much the reason you listen to S.F.U. Then the title track comes on and it's a bit repetitive, but kicks ass nonetheless. "Ugly comes on with Chris Barns growling "Ugly Inside! Ugly Outside!" Another great tune. Rounding out the disk is "Blind And Gagged", "Claustrophobic", and "Escape From The Grave which was inspired by a friend 'Chuck' from the band Death and many other bands who died of a brain tumor.
Chris Barns experiments with his vocals and the music is taking a different direction than their last albums. I have to say this is a great album and I highly recommend it to any metal fan.
